Social media
Social media management is the ongoing operation of a brand's channels: what gets posted, when, in what visual language, and what it is supposed to achieve. CIMA runs it as a campaign with a plan rather than as a feed to be filled, and produces the photography and film it consumes rather than sourcing stock.
What we do
We set the channel strategy, build the calendar, art-direct and produce the content, and publish against it. The advantage of the studio doing all of that is supply: a brand with an in-house production crew behind its feed is not choosing between posting something weak and posting nothing.
- Channel strategy and platform mix
- Content calendars
- Channel art direction
- Content production for social
- Publishing and community management
- Reporting against what the channel is for
How it runs
- 01
Audit
What the channels are doing now, and what they are actually for.
- 02
Plan
Platform mix, cadence, formats and a calendar.
- 03
Produce
Shoot and design against the calendar, in batches.
- 04
Run
Publish, respond, and report on what the channel is for.
When it is the right call
- A brand whose feed does not look like the rest of its identity
- Channels being filled ad hoc by someone with another job
- A launch needing a channel presence built from nothing
- Consistent production capacity, rather than a monthly scramble
Social media, asked and answered
- Do you produce the content, or only schedule it?
- We produce it. Scheduling somebody else's assets is the part of social media management that adds least and breaks first, because the calendar is only ever as good as the content supply behind it.
- Which platforms do you work across?
- The ones a brand's audience actually uses, which in this market usually means Instagram and TikTok first, with LinkedIn where the buyer is a business. We would rather run two channels properly than five thinly.
